The Lover singer shared a flashback photo from when she was 16 years old and performing for a small crowd.

The Pennsylvania native stated at the time that she only hoped her success would continue. 

Next, the 29-year-old Grammy winner shared another photo from a recent sold-out concert.

Taylor Swift reminisced about her teenage years on Thursday afternoon. The Lover singer posted a flashback photo from when she was just 16 years old and performing for a small group of people by a lake.

Swift’s caption was lengthy and heartfelt.

‘I stated in a 13-year-old interview: “I’m just hoping that I have a second album that does as well as the first and someday get to be a headliner, and always be the same person that I started out as.”

 ‘Scrolling through your posts today has made me feel all the feelings, and I want to thank you. 

‘Because of you, there was a second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh album.

She went on to say that they all made it happen.

‘You guys made me a headliner because you wanted to see me perform.

And your support over the years has helped me stay true to the kid I was when I first started out.’

She has sold 50 million albums and is one of the most successful music artists of all time.

Swift, the music festival’s headliner, was the biggest star at We Can Survive. She performed late on Saturday night at the Hollywood Bowl.

The blonde star made her debut album in 2006, and her second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Speak Now was released in 2010, followed by Red in 2012. Her fifth album, 1989, came out in 2014.

In 2017, she released her sixth album, Reputation. This year, she released her seventh album, Lover.

This comes just days after the Red singer sold out Radio.com’s seventh annual We Can Survive music festival at the Hollywood Bowl late Saturday night.
