Considering her mum is the stylish Kate Middleton, we’re not surprised that little Princess Charlotte is replicating some of her mum’s most fashionable looks. It’s even sweeter though when the royal mother-daughter duo coordinate their outfits to twin together.

At King Charles’ coronation, the dress code was intended to be more pared back with no tiaras in sight, per CNN. But that’s not to say statements weren’t made. The Princess of Wales opted for a delicate Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen floral headpiece in honour of the monarch’s green theme, and matched with Princess Charlotte, who donned the same iconic accessory.

Let’s look at the dynamic duo’s best mother-daughter matching moments to date …

At the recent coronation on May 6, history was made in many ways, from crowning King Charles, the oldest monarch to ever take the British throne, to Prince Harry’s notable absence from the royal family balcony.

On the fashion front, the new king reportedly implemented a “meritocratic, not aristocratic” theme, which explains the lack of tiaras at the national event.

Always striving to be a green warrior, 41-year-old Middleton turned to her trusted designer Alexander McQueen, who designed her silver leafy headpiece in collaboration with Jess Collett for the royal gathering. Her ceremonial cape was also from Alexander McQueen.

Her eight-year-old daughter Charlotte also shone in an Alexander McQueen dress and cape with similar motifs, and completed the look with a similar mini version of the Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen headpiece, Buckingham Palace confirmed.

Stepping out together in bright blue ‘fits, Charlotte and Kate were the epitome of elegance for the Easter Matins service in April. Charlotte wore a Rachel Riley floral-print dress featuring puffy sleeves and a gathered skirt, while Kate chose her bespoke Catherine Walker coat for the event at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. She debuted the piece at last year’s Commonwealth Day Service.

Taking place in December, the Princess of Wales brought her kids Princess Charlotte and Prince George to her second annual Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey as they strutted out looking like a big, happy family with Prince William. It seemed that Prince Louis stayed home, per People.

The event included King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice and Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton among its guests, while artists like Craig David and Spice Girls’ Melanie C made special performances.

When news broke last year that Queen Elizabeth, the second-longest reigning monarch in the world, had died, much of the world mourned in sadness for the late icon. William suited up in an indigo-blue tuxedo for the funeral, while Kate and Charlotte both paid their respects in head-to-toe black ensembles. According to Grazia, Kate wore a pearl necklace that once belonged to the queen herself.

Last April, Kate and Charlotte went for a similar springtime floral look in full pastel baby blue-coloured attire on their way to the traditional Easter Sunday church service at St. George’s Chapel. William’s wife chose a sleek Emilia Wickstead coat dress paired with matching pumps and a textured headband, while Charlotte looked chic as ever in her patterned dress, navy-blue cardigan and coloured stockings.

Charlotte’s “tarmac tantrum”, as described by People, at the end of the royals’ 2017 tour in Germany and Poland may have made headlines, but we couldn’t help but coo over the mother-daughter pair’s delightful choices of attire too. Matching in pastel hues, Kate and Charlotte were seen walking hand in hand on their way to the private plane which would take them home to London.
