A lot of people keep their fingers crossed when they’re up for an award. But it sounds like A$AP Rocky kept his legs crossed.

While accepting the Virgil Abloh Award from promo org Harlem’s Fashion Row at the Apollo Theater, the rapper, 34, cut his speech short to make a beeline for the bathroom.

Rocky, who has two kids with Rihanna, began by paying tribute to Abloh, the late founder of brand Off-White, and then concluded, “I really got to pee. I got much to say. Y’all be good!” and left the stage — ASAP, naturally.

And while Rocky grappled with a pesky pee, costume designer and Creative Director of Puma June Ambrose told us about a pet peeve.

Ask what trend she’s ready to see the back of Ambrose,52, told us she’d had it with big eyelashes.

“I said it,” Ambrose said, “I think they upstage beauty. I want to see my beautiful sisters and women. I want to see their eyes. I feel like the brushes are too big.”

Meanwhile, Kelly Rowland, who won the Fashion Icon Award, told us that she started taking an interest in style after watching Naomi Campbell and Janet Jackson.

“When I saw this glistening brown skin on television reflecting me, I said I can do this,” she told us, “It’s so important that we see ourselves, and our children see themselves reflected in this world.”

Her husband of nine years, Tim Weatherspoon, made a surprise appearance at the event to present her with the award.
