Reid and Kelce both downplayed the situation after the Super Bowl

SKIP Bayless didn’t hold back his feelings about Travis Kelce and Andy Reid’s Super Bowl bust up.

Perhaps the most shocking moment of the Super Bowl came in the first half when Travis Kelce got in Andy Reid’s face in a furious rant.

Kelce ended up shoving his coach as well in the bust which fans though was unbelievable.

The Chiefs tight end was miced up during the incident, but the NFL decided not to release the audio from the altercation.

Reid reportedly blocked the audio coming out himself, according to the New York Post.

Skip Bayless sounded unsurprised that the Chiefs didn’t allow the audio to come out, attacking Reid in the process.

“Good story in the NY Post by Ryan Glasspiegel indicates the Chiefs managed to keep NFL Films audio of Travis Kelce attacking Andy Reid from airing anywhere,” he tweeted.

“No surprise. Kelce was verbally as well as physically abusive. No punishment.

“Andy sold his coaching soul for that SBowl.”

Kelce was left out of a play which ended up becoming a turnover, giving the ball back to the 49ers.

Up until that point, the 49ers were in control of the game and things were looking bleak for the Chiefs. Of course, they would come back to win the game.

If the Chiefs had lost the game, the incident between Kelce and Reid likely would have been the defining moment of the game.

Kelce held off from explaining what happened between him and his coach after the Super Bowl, opting to joke around about it.

“Ah, you guys saw that? I’m gonna keep it between us unless my mic’d up tells the world,” he said.

“I was just telling him how much I love him.”

Reid also downplayed the situation after the win, saying Kelce keeps him young.
