On Wednesday afternoon, Chicago Sky’s newest star Angle Reese sat down for her introductory press conference with the media.

Reese was drafted with the seventh overall pick in last week’s WNBA Draft.

In her final season with the LSU Tigers, Reese averaged 18.6 points per game and 13.4 rebounds per game. She also helped lead the Tigers to a NCAA Women’s College Basketball National Championship win in the previous season.

During her press conference, Reese had some inspirational words regarding her WNBA career. “I know, it’s crazy being able to see the impact. As a little girl, I always looked up to so many great players in the WNBA and now being able to see my name on the back of a jersey is amazing,” said Reese.
