NFL fans are losing their minds after Antonio Brown posted a cryptic tweet suggesting that the Pittsburgh Steelers are about to make a blockbuster trade for a wide receiver.

Antonio Brown star wide receiver recently launched the CTESPN Network podcast, where he often shares trade rumors and scoops through so-called “sources.”

Though anything the former wide receiver says should be taken with a grain of salt, keep in mind that CTESPN Network was first to report the news of veteran quarterback Russell Wilson signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 35-year-old Brown has social media buzzing again after posting two mysterious tweets that suggest his old team is about to complete a trade for a star wide receiver:

Brown’s pair of tweets sent social media into a frenzy, with fans speculating on all sorts of potential blockbuster trades:

Pittsburgh has been widely mentioned as a potential landing spot for San Francisco 49ers star wideouts Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk. But with the NFL Draft in the books, it’s looking more likely that the 49ers will end up keeping the two for at least another season.

Antonio Brown’s Old Team Will Look Different In 2024

The Pittsburgh Steelers offense has undergone a massive overhaul this offseason, and it all began with the quarterback position. QB Kenny Pickett (traded to the Philadelphia Eagles), Mitch Trubisky (released and signed with the Buffalo Bills) and Mason Rudolph (signed with the Tennessee Titans) are all gone.

They signed the aforementioned Russell Wilson following his release from Denver and acquired 2021 first-round pick Justin Fields from the Chicago Bears. Kyle Allen was later signed to be the team’s third QB.

The Pittsburgh Steelers also traded star wide receiver Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers in a surprise move. GM Omar Khan drafted Washington offensive lineman Troy Fautanu with his first-round pick and took Michigan wideout Roman Wilson at No. 84, giving Mike Tomlin two more capable quality starters.
