Chase Claypool has found a new team.

Wide receiver Chase Claypool desperately needs a revamp to his career, and he possibly found it when it was reported that he was signing a deal with the Buffalo Bills.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Steelers selected Claypool, 25, in the second round. Before the Pittsburgh Steelers moved him to the Chicago Bears at the deadline, he played for the team for two and a half seasons. They got a second-round selection in return, which went to cornerback Joey Porter Jr.

Claypool had 37 starts in 39 games while he was a player for Pittsburgh. He hauled in 153 receptions for 2,044 yards and 12 scores.

Following his exit, Claypool had trouble breaking through in the NFL. With the Chicago Bears, he appeared in just ten games and caught 18 passes for 191 yards and a score. The team never won a game with him on the roster. After that, he was moved to the Miami Dolphins, where he played primarily on special teams and only managed to catch four catches for 26 yards in nine games.

Chase Claypool, the former Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, seemingly had a clear path to resuming his professional football career, and it was across the border.

Last month, Claypool was added to an exclusive negotiating list by the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders, according to 3DownNation.

Luckily for the 6-foot-4 wideout, the Buffalo Bills decided to give him a chance to resurrect his career and show he still has some talent at the position now that a player like Stefon Diggs is no longer on the team.
