The hope right now is that the NFL will be able to get in the wild card game between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers by Monday afternoon, but that’s looking less and less likely by the hour.

In case you haven’t heard by now, Buffalo is currently being hit by a winter storm that is pummeling the area with tons of snow and high winds. Visibility is practically zero, and residents are being urged to avoid traveling.

The Bills were hoping to at least use this extra day to prepare for Monday’s rescheduled game, but it appears as though they won’t be able to to that, as the players, staff and even the snow shovelers are being told to stay home for the moment.

And that’s not all. At the moment, the Pittsburgh Steelers are planning to fly into Buffalo at 3 p.m., but based on the latest footage of the storm, it’s hard to imagine that happening of conditions remain the same.

This video says it all:

All of this leaves open the possibility that the league will have to move this game once again, as it has already been noted by multiple sources that Tuesday is still very much “in play” for this AFC Wild Card battle.

Stay tuned, as Mike Garafolo said.
