Travis Kelce made sure to shake off one personal question like a pro.

the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was grilled about his growing romance with Taylor Swift—and he made sure to dodge questions with grace and class. During a press conference in Germany, where the Chiefs are set to play the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 5, Kelce was asked if he was “in love” with the “Cruel Summer” singer.

His response? “Um, I’m gonna keep my personal relationship personal,” the two-time Super Bowl winner coyly commented.

Fans quickly defended Kelce from the personal probe, with one writing on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Out of pocket question.”

nother chimed in, “So second-hand embarrasment [sic]. Even Swifties hate it.”

Still, we can’t say we’re surprised that Kelce was asked about his connection to Swift, as their romance has made countless headlines since the news broke back in September.

For those who need a refresher, in September, it was reported by The Messenger that Kelce and Swift were “quietly hanging out.”

However, it wasn’t until Swift showed up at Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs home game against the Chicago Bears that fans realized that this romance was really happening. During the Sept. 24 appearance, Swift sat with Kelce’s mom Donna, who later chose to stay mum about the visit while on the Today Show.

“There isn’t a man alive that’s going to talk to their mom about their personal life,” the football mom defended in early October. “It’s just not gonna happen.”

Since that initial appearance, Swift has brought her famous friends—including Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman, among others—to cheer on her athletic beau.

She was even snapped planting a kiss on Kelce’s cheek after the Oct. 22 game. We’re certainly invested in this “Love Story.”
