2024 WNBA DraftCaitlin Clark drops adorable reply to boyfriend Connor McCaffery

The projected top pick of this year’s WNBA draft, Caitlin Clark, turned heads as he arrived in Brooklyn with her stunning Prada outfit on Monday. Clark donned a white-colored skirt and a blazer with a silver top. As she entered the scene, many were in awe of what she wore, including her boyfriend, former Iowa men’s basketball player Connor McCaffery.

Clark once again amazed the crowd, as she always does on the court. On social media, a fan was curious to know what McCaffery thought of his girlfriend’s outfit. He responded with a bunch of emojis. The WNBA prospect then had an adorable reply with just one emoji.

In her four years in Iowa, Clark averaged 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists.

Caitlin Clark talks about Aliyah Boston

On Monday night, many expect Clark to be the top pick of the draft. However, before that takes place, the prospect showed her appreciation for last year’s top pick, Aliyah Boston.

“The thing I love about Aliyah is she just works so hard,” Clark said.

The Indiana Fever had the top pick last year as well as this year. Clark and Boston will likely be teammates if Indiana picks the Iowa star.

Caitlin Clark gets selected No. 1

It’s no surprise that Clark would enter the draft as a top pick. Even before she declared for the draft, experts already predicted that she’d be selected and drafted early. The Indiana Fever now has a young dynamic duo in the Iowa star and Aliyah Boston, who was also selected number one last year.

Considered to be one of the greatest collegiate players of all time, fans expect Clark to take over the WNBA. In her time with Iowa, she influenced basketball fans to watch the women’s collegiate league. Her time in college has left a lasting impact on the realm of women’s sports as many have started to take an interest in watching and participating.

Clark’s four years in college will be memorable as she’s had numerous iconic moments. Before she left for the WNBA, she became the all-time leading scorer for both men’s and women’s college basketball. The young guard has been so impactful that the Hawkeyes have decided to retire her No. 22 jersey.

Her game fits today’s standard so well as she’s a sniper from deep. What makes her even more of a threat is her aggressiveness to generate her shots. Additionally, she can rebound and pass the ball well, which is something that stars like Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic do on a nightly basis.

Fans await the debut of Clark in the WNBA for the Fever. Their first game this season will be on May 14 against the Connecticut Sun. But fans can get to watch her earlier as Indiana will have their two preseason games on May 3 and 10.
