Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel might have gotten his team to the playoffs, but they are surely backing their way into it after they lost their final two games of the year.

On Sunday night, the Bills went ahead and won their fourth consecutive AFC East title and claimed the conference’s No. 2 seed on the strength of their 21-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Shortly after the contest, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel went over to shake the hand of the Bills head coach before heading to the locker room. As soon as he was done, he turned around and walked right into a camera.

Tua Tagovailoa finished with 173 passing yards, tossing one touchdown against two interceptions.

The Bills secured the top spot in the AFC East with the victory, which means that Miami will not have the opportunity to host a playoff game. Instead, the Dolphins will travel to Arrowhead Stadium for a wild-card matchup with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Temperatures in Miami at kickoff for the Dolphins’ regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night were in the 60s and now Miami will have to deal with frigid temperatures in their playoff game.

The high temperature in Kansas City on Saturday will be a bone-chilling 13 degrees with the low coming in at -2 degrees. That is the price they paid for losing two-straight games.
