Amid reports of a blazing Christmas argument, pop icon Taylor Swift touched down in a dangerously icy Kansas City to see her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce face off against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night.

Swift’s gas-guzzling private jet, which has a staggering $40million price tag, landed just before midday local time (1pm EST) ahead of the Chiefs’ big game tonight.

Her Dassault Falcon 7X, a plane popular with the global elite, had departed from Morristown, New Jersey, earlier this morning.

The 34-year-old billionaire shielded her face from the Arctic-like winds with an umbrella as she exited the plane at Charles B. Wheeler Downtown airport, being whisked away by an awaiting three-strong motorcade.

Life & Style magazine claimed in a bombshell report this weekend that the 12-time Grammy winner has an ‘awkward relationship’ with Kelce’s brother Jason.

Swift has met Kelce’s parents – mom Donna and father Ed – but so far, there have been no pictures of her meeting with Jason, who Travis is extremely close to, or Jason’s wife Kylie.

  Life and Style quoted a source as saying: ‘Taylor hasn’t had the best reception from Jason and his wife.’

Kylie’s quotes about the spotlight particularly irked Swift, with the source adding: ‘Taylor took that personally and since then it’s been very awkward.’

Unlike his brother, Travis has ambitions to reach superstardom – setting his sights on being as famous as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – and has even hired five agents in a bid to boost his career and make himself a movie star, his managers revealed.

This has led to concerns that he has merely been using Swift to help him on that quest, although she doesn’t believe that is the case herself. ‘She hates that it’s given people ammunition to use against them,’ the source said.

Kelce allegedly ‘snapped’ at Swift on Christmas Day as the pair clashed in their first argument since getting together in July, following the Chiefs’ loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, according to the magazine,

A source is quoted as saying that the row ruined his and Taylor’s holidays given it was their first fight in five months together.

And over a week later, Swift’s stressful holiday season was followed by a controversial New York Times article which questioned her sexuality.
