It’s about the family. ‘The Fast & The Furious’ changed the game when it was released on June 22, 2001. The movie became a massive blockbuster and spawned one of the most successful movie franchises of all time. After 9 movies, the ‘Fast’ franchise has earned over $6 billion at the box office. ‘Fx’ is sure to add to that number, with the newly released trailer hinting that the final films will be filled with action, suspense, and of course, heart.
The first movie starred the core cast of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, and Michelle Rodriguez. Over the years, more ‘Fast’ family members have joined the crew, with Brie Larson, Jason Momoa, and Rita Moreno all joining the cast for the last two films.
But it was Vin who became a household name when the first movie came out. He leads the ‘Fast’ franchise as the one and only Dom Toretto, but that’s not all he’s been up to. Vin has also starred in the ‘XXX’ and ‘The Chronicles of Riddick’ film franchises. He notably voices the character of Groot in the MCU. In addition to two more ‘Fast & Furious’ movies, Vin was rumored to be in the latest ‘Avatar’ sequels, but that didn’t come to pass.
