FS1’s ‘Undisputed’ is reportedly set to get a new member.

According to the New York Post, former Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce is set to join the show as a contributor ahead of the NBA playoffs.

The publication, which cites a source, notes that, while a deal hasn’t been finalized, it could be this week. A spokesperson for said network declined to comment after the Post reached out.

Host Skip Bayless is usually sat opposite Keyshawn Johnson, while the likes of Michael Irvin, Richard Sherman, and Rachel Nichols are also regular contributors.

Paul Pierce Was Dismissed By ESPN In 2021

Pierce, who was fired from his job at ESPN in 2021 after posting a live video in which he was seen smoking marijuana and having a good time with some paid ladies, currently hosts the ‘Ticker & The Truth’ podcast with former Celtics teammate Kevin Garnett.

He is a 10-time All-Star who was also named Finals MVP when the Celtics won their last championship in 2008 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2021.

The former forward made appearances on ‘Undisputed’ last fall and is now likely to take up the role on a more consistent basis. He does have plenty of television experience, having previously worked for The Worldwide Leader in Sports.

“I got fired for having some entertainment. I’m playing cards. It’s my boy’s birthday. It’s girls dancing. We’re blowing some tree. What did I do wrong?” he said of his dismissal on the ‘I Am Athlete’ podcast last year.

“I don’t ever go live either, I was just feeling my [hair] cut or something, and then it was popping behind me.”
