Bayless wants massive changes in the Cowboys after witnessing terrible first half from the Cowboys.

Skip Bayless has seen enough; he wants Dak Prescott out of Arlington. The veteran analysts, similar to the millions of Dallas Cowboys fans around the globe who tuned in to watch the Wild Card game, are scrubbing their eyes over and over again because they can’t wrap their heads around what is happening in Arlington.

The Cowboys (2nd seed) faced off against the Green Bay Packers (7th seed) for a place in the divisional round. Dallas were the 7-point favorites going into the game because they were playing at home. However, that advantage was thrown out of the window when, post-season, Prescott turned up for the game, not the one who was in the mix for MVP.

When the scores were 7-0 for the Packers, Dallas had the ball on 3rd and 5th with under a minute to go for the next quarter. After the snap, he threw the pass, intending for Brandin Cooks, but Jaire Alexander lopped over and caught a magnificent pick for return.

Then, deep into the second quarter, with under 2 minutes until halftime, Prescott threw a simple screen pass straight to safety Darnell Savage Jr. The Cowboys were down by 27-0. Jerry Jones‘ side has yet to win a game since 1991 when they trailed by that margin (0-56).

Bayless, who was very confident that Dallas had this game in the bag, went to social media and wrote,

GET RID OF DAK PRESCOTT. ENOUGH OF THE SUFFERING. He was a fourth-round pick for a reason. I THREW HIS JERSEY AWAY FOR A REASON. He’s now 2–5 in the playoffs. BIG-MOMENT LOSER. NOT A DALLAS COWBOY QUARTERBACK.

Last year, against the San Francisco 49ers, Prescott threw two interceptions in the NFC Divisional round. Bayless threw away the Cowboys quarterback’s jersey inside his kitchen.

In the 2023 season, he repeated the same when the Cowboys lost 10-42 against the 49ers. But he kept the Micah Parsons jersey.

The ‘Undisputed’ contributor loves the Cowboys and has a very healthy relationship with owner Jones. But the atrocious display from Dallas and Prescott forced him to start rooting for the Packers.

Historically, Green Bay has dominated this fixture in the last 10 games, winning nine times. Coincidentally, their head coach was the current Cowboys head coach, Mike McCarthy. And the only time they lost a game was against the 60-year-old. Bayless wrote,

Green Bay OWNS Dallas, always has.

At the end of the third quarter, Aaron Jones, who was the only one with any playoff experience on the Packers side, had scored three touchdowns for more than 100 rushing yards. Jones only had two touchdowns all season.

When everything starts to go wrong, even the most reliable player comes under pressure. Dallas kicker Brandon Aubrey, who did not miss a single field goal, hit a doink, signaling that their day was a dumpster fire.

At this point, Skip Bayless predicted that the match would end with the Packers winning 48-24.

The final score of this game will be Green Bay 48, Dallas 24.

In the end, Dallas managed to add 8 more points to finish 48-32. Dak Prescott ended his playoff misery with 41-60 for 403 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Another year, another postseason meltdown for the Cowboys.
