Gisele Bundchen has finally addressed reports claiming she cheated on Tom Brady while they were married.

Bundchen and Brady were married for 13 years before announcing their divorce during the 2022 NFL season. It’s believed that the former quarterback’s decision to unretire set the ball rolling on the split.

The Brazilian model has since moved on, having confirmed her relationship with jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente in a recent interview with the New York Times.

Gisele Bundchen was spotted with Joaquim Valente shortly after the news of her divorce from Brady was made public. However, a recent report claimed that the seven-time Super Bowl winner was aware that he was being cheated on at least as far back as 2021.

The accusation came up in Gisele’s interview with the Times, and she’s branded it a lie, adding that women get accused of cheating after they find the courage to get out of an unhealthy relationship.

“That is a lie,” she said. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” Ms. Bündchen said. “They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

Gisele Bundchen Implies Tom Brady Moved On First

Gisele Bundchen implied that her decision to enter a new relationship came on the back of Tom Brady himself appearing to move on as she told the Times she has been divorced for 18 months, during which Brady appeared to have involvements elsewhere.

The ex-QB was rumored to have hooked up with Kim Kardashian but it appears this was all rumor. The speculation surrounding Irina Shayk was different, however, as he was photographed picking her up from a hotel and taking her to his house, where she spent the night.

Gisele added that her relationship with Joaquim is different in that it marks the first time she’s started one with someone who was a friend first.
