Fans can’t get enough of Charles Barkley’s TV antics

AS March Madness continues to rage on, Ernie Johnson and the NBA on TNT crew are looking for ways to stay interesting.

To do so, Johnson cooked up a game to play with his costars, making them try to guess March Madness teams’ mascots.

Johnson had Clark Kellogg hold up pictures of a team’s mascot and quizzed Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith to see if they could figure out what it was.

The results weren’t great, and Smith and Barkley spent more time arguing about the game than getting any of the mascots right.

The game featured mascots like Michigan State’s Sparty and NC State’s Mr. Wuf.

The crew spent about two and a half minutes trying to figure out what the mascots were before things devolved into chaos.

“I am really getting fed up with the contestants,” Johnson sighed.

Barkley and Smith didn’t seem to care about the trouble they were causing though, and continued to laugh about their wrong answers.

“This is the worst game ever,” Barkley said at the end of the segment.

“This is the worst game ever, America.”

March Madness fans got a kick out of the segment at the expense of Johnson, and shared their laughs on Twitter.

“Fricking golden man. I’m not gonna even lie, I was keeping quiet in real time while they was playing this game case I know better!” one fan said.

“Barkley is a clown,” another fan said.

“These guys are the best,” a third fan said.

“Chuck can’t help but be hilarious and Kenny can’t stand that he gets all the laughs at his expense,” a fourth fan said.

Johnson and his crew will continue covering second-round March Madness action on Sunday.
