STANFORD forward Cameron Brink has become one of the top stars in women’s college basketball thanks to a major assist from Steph Curry.
Cameron is the “god sister” of the Golden State Warriors legend, whom she spent family vacations with every summer growing up.

Brink’s mother Michelle Bain-Brink was roommates with Curry’s mom Sonya at Virginia Tech, while their future husbands Dell Curry and Greg Brink were both basketball players at the college.
And their families have remained close ever since.
The NCAA champion’s godparents are Dell and Sonya Curry, the parents of NBA star Steph and Seth Curry.
Meanwhile, Michelle – or Shelly – is godmother to Steph and Seth.
“It’s a blessing to have such an amazing connection,” Brink told the Oregonian.
“[Steph] is like my brother basically, so it’s just like seeing a family member you’ve known forever and someone you would run around with and goof off with, and then all of a sudden you see him on the cover of cereal boxes.
“It’s crazy because he’s such a normal person in your life, and thousands and thousands of people look up to him.”
When Brink was just eight she gave Curry advice before he was about to take part in a March Madness Sweet Sixteen game for Davidson College.
“If you believe in yourself, you can be somebody,” she told the future NBA icon.
Brink was not into sports as a young child but when she did get into basketball she was not afraid to ask Curry for help with her free throw shots and jumpers.
Now the 6-foot-4 senior has become one of the most successful and popular players in women’s college basketball.
The 22-year-old, who is going for glory in the Women’s March Madness, has signed over 15 NIL deals including a landmark partnership with New Balance.
And Curry is hugely proud of the player she has become.
“I know she’s going to keep getting better,” the Warriors star said.
“I honestly don’t need to tell her much now; she’s just kind of off and running.
“It’s been awesome to watch and see.”
