Detroit Lions lining up for offensive play.

Internet detectives spotted something else awfully suspicious about the ending of the Detroit Lions-Dallas Cowboys game on Saturday night.

As you know by now, the Lions had a last-minute go-ahead two-point conversion try taken off the board because of a controversial illegal touching penalty against star offensive tackle Taylor Decker.

The officials claimed that No. 70 (Dan Skipper) reported eligible, but that Decker did not:

Some heads-up fans on Reddit also pointed something fishy out: The officials took a lot longer than normal to throw the flag on the Lions:

The Lions’ second two-point try was unsuccessful, but a Micah Parsons offsides penalty gave Detroit one more chance. Goff’s third attempt to James Mitchell was incomplete, and the Cowboys recovered the onside kick to close out the game.

Despite the loss, the Lions (11-5) have already clinched their best record since 2014. They’ll open the postseason as the No. 2 or No. 3 seed.
