Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen has generated a ton of buzz coming out of college, and now he seems to be making it known which team he plans to draft: The Dallas Cowboys.

With Tony Pollard leaving in free agency, the Dallas Cowboys could look to the upcoming rookie running back class to start from scratch.

University of Wisconsin Badgers running back Braelon Allen recently had a video posted showing him working out with several different exercises, but he appeared to be doing so while wearing Dallas Cowboys shorts.

Weighing in at 6′-1″ and 235 pounds, Allen is a bruising, physical back that could prove to be the perfect with the Dallas Cowboys.

Allen played a total of three seasons at Wisconsin as the feature back. In those three seasons, Allen totaled 597 carries for 3,494 yards and 35 rushing touchdowns while also having 49 career receptions for 275 yards.

This past season was a down year by his standards, as he racked up 181 carries for 984 yards and 12 touchdowns while also catching 28 passes for 132 yards, via ESPN.com.

Allen has the potential to be a reliable starter for the Dallas Cowboys, who are desperate to fill the position and find a viable player that can take pressure off of Dak Prescott.

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to take a running back early during the 2024 NFL Draft.

With the NFL Draft looming, Jerry Jones and company could prioritize taking a running back to perfectly pair alongside quarterback Dak Prescott in a pivotal season for Prescott and head coach Mike McCarthy.

Leading into the draft, Dowdle, Vaughn, Malik Davis, and Snoop Conner are the only running backs on the Cowboys’ roster so this next decision is a huge one.
