Kanye’s recent rant involved Taylor Swift

KANYE West has threatened to delete his social media accounts in a new rant.

The Yeezy mogul has taken to his Instagram account to rant about a range of topics over the years.

On Wednesday, screengrabs of Kanye’s, 46, posts were posted onto X, formerly Twitter.

In the first post, the ex of Kim Kardashian, 43, shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with motivational speaker Justin LaBoy.

Kanye texted them, “I’m closing my Kanye West Instagram account. My name is Ye. No brand or numbers gonna force me to call myself what they want me to still be.”

In a second post, a screengrab of Instagram comments made by the Donda rapper read, “Somebody has Ye as an account.

“I would like to have my name so I can change my account to my legal name. Nobody finna bully nothing.

“My name is Ye now. You call me Kanye West you calling me out of my name. Name big changed to Ye on Insta shortly,” he concluded.

HIS NAME CHANGE

In 2018, Kanye revealed he was going by Ye after naming his album that.

In 2021, it was confirmed that he changed his name legally.

At the time he wrote on X: “The being formally known as Kanye West. I am YE.”

In a 2018 interview with radio host Big Boy, Ye said, “I believe ‘ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible it means you. So it’s I’m you, I’m us, it’s us.

On and off social media, Kanye isn’t afraid to share his thoughts and opinions.

ANOTHER RANT

On February 15, the rap music star posted a screenshot of a tweet from a Taylor Swift fan discussing music streams and sales on his Instagram.

Kanye shared the tweet that encouraged Taylor fans to purchase and stream Beyonce’s newest single, Texas Hold ‘Em, so it blocks the Yeezy mogul from the #1 spot.

In his caption, Ye said in all caps, “When I said that I’m the new Jesus b***h I wasn’t even thinking about Taylor Swift. That was a whole line before but I appreciate the free promo.

“Lil Wayne actually mentions Travis [Kelce] on Vultures 2. This album is actually super positive and fun and it’s all about triumphant.

“Last year was incredibly challenging for me, my wife, my children, friends, and family. I’ve been banned from hotels, kicked out of companies, and even not allowed to eat in some restaurants.

“Everyone saw Vultures 1 get taken off of platforms to limit our first week numbers. This reminds me of the mistreatment of my people because of the color of our skin,” he wrote.

‘I’VE BEEN MORE HELPFUL THAN HARMFUL’

Kanye claimed that he was on Taylor’s side when Scooter Braun purchased her masters and that she and Beyonce are “big inspirations” to artists.

He continued, “I’m sure I’ve been far more helpful to Taylor Swift’s career than harmful. To all Taylor Swift fans I am not your enemy uuum I’m not your friend either though.”

Ye then denied claims that Taylor “made calls for him to be removed” from the Super Bowl.

“I didn’t get kicked out of the Super Bowl we left our seats to go to YG’s box and see different friends. My wife had never been to a Super Bowl so I wanted to walk around and have a nice time. We had such a fun day.

He concluded with, “The media may control the narrative but the people have spoken.”
