With Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as her parents, it’s almost inevitable that she’s more attuned to luxury fashion and beauty than the average four-year-old.

And North West, who turned five on Friday, showed that she’s embracing her own sense of style on Thursday, when she debuted her Ariana Grande-style straightened high ponytail during an outing in New York City with her famous mother.

As she made her way to the popular Dylan’s Candy Bar, located in the Big Apple’s Upper East Side, the adorable youngster smiled broadly while displaying her new tresses, which were individualised with a braided section at the front.

North, who is the eldest of Kim and Kanye’s three children, appeared to be in her element as she prepared to stock up on sweet treats, swinging her sleek ponytail as she strode through the bustling city streets carrying a cuddly stuffed toy.

And she looked typically stylish for the fun-filled excursion, wearing pink Adidas ensemble that consisted of a pink cropped jacket and matching shorts.

Accompanied by one of her close pals, North sported a pair of Yeezy’s from her rapper and designer dad’s popular shoe line and later tszujed up her look by wearing a row of colourful sweets as a choker.

As well as her 37-year-old mother and a pal, North also enjoyed her leisurely visit to the candy store with close family friend Jonathan Cheban, 44.

Naturally, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim stepped out in eye-catching style, wearing a black crop sweater and matching shorts, which she teamed with a pair of thigh-high grey suede boots.

Keeping warm in a black jacket, the stunning mother-of-three wore her long raven locks down in a straight style with a centre-parting.

Kim’s BFF Jonathan kept it casual in a yellow T-shirt and jeans, while he stayed true to his pal#’s family brand, sporting a pair of Kanye-designed Yeezy sneakers.

In May of last year, Kim and Kanye launched their children’s clothing line, with North landing the plum role as a model for brand when her mother showed off the designs.

Sharing details of her creative process, California native Kim told the New York Times’ recently launched Singapore-based publication: ‘It’s been such a fun journey to figure out how our kids like to dress and how to make cool clothes for kids.

‘We’ve always been tailoring things and cutting things up, or taking dresses of mine and cutting them down to North’s size.’
