LeBron has been repeatedly saying he wants to play with Bronny in the NBA
LEBRON James has been mocked by NBA fans after deleting the viral post about his son Bronny’s draft prediction.
The Los Angeles Lakers star went on a social media rant as he reacted to ESPN removing the University of Southern California guard from its 2024 mock draft.

A few weeks ago, LeBron, 39, said that Bronny, 19, could “easily” play for his Lakers as he addressed his team’s mid-season slump.
But ESPN recently predicted the 6-foot-4 guard would go undrafted this year, listing him as a second-round pick in the 2025 NBA mock draft instead.
On Monday, Lakers Daily wrote a story about the USC star’s omission from the Class of 2024 – and it caught LeBron’s attention.
“Can y’all please just let the kid be a kid and enjoy college basketball?” the four-time NBA champion wrote on X while re-sharing a link to the report.
“The work and results will ultimately do the talking no matter what he decides to do.
“If y’all don’t know he doesn’t care what a mock draft says, he just WORKS! Earned not given.”
Not long after, LeBron deleted the post and his retraction didn’t go unnoticed on NBA Twitter.
“Another deleted LeBron tweet. Dude needs a PR guy yikes,” one fan wrote.
“Hey I’m a big LeBron fan but this is hella funny,” another added.
“LeBron really deleted that tweet to his 52 million followers after he forgot he said Bronny could play in the league now over some dudes,” a third said.
“LeBron don’t be thinking at all before he hits that tweet button,” one wrote.
For years, LeBron has been dreaming of playing with Bronny in the NBA.
But last year, James Jr. suffered a cardiac arrest, delaying his college basketball debut and complicating his NBA journey.
The USC freshman is averaging 5.5 points, 2.5 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks for the Trojans, shooting 37.1% from the field and 27.5% for 3.
