It is no longer a secret anymore. LeBron James is a generational liar.
The NBA superstar and longtime Migos fan paid respect to the shot and murdered member Takeoff on Sunday by showing up to the Los Angeles Lakers’ home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers dressed in a dark suit, shades, and silver Jesus medallion over his black tie, as an ode to the late rapper.
Takeoff wore the same look back in June, when he celebrated the birthday of Quality Control label CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas. On Sunday, LeBron changed his Instagram profile picture to one of Takeoff in the suit.
He could’ve left his tributes right there, but he kept going.
The lakers star then revealed he had been listening to the Migos since 2010 before anybody even knew they existed.
“I was listening to those guys my first year with the Heat in 2010. You can ask any one of my teammates back then, they had no idea who the Migos was… I was like ‘I’m telling you these guys are next.’”
Fans would soon take to Twitter and expose him, because the Migos did not drop their first mixtape until August 2011.
“LeBron is one of the biggest liars in American history,” one fan wrote.
“LeBron James lying about innocuous stuff is the funniest thing to me because there’s absolutely no reason for it. He doesn’t need to curry favor with people anymore, he doesn’t need to boost his profile. This man tells tall tales for the love of the game, he’s like Hulk Hogan,” another fan wrote.
“LeBron lying about knowing who Migos were before any of his teammates in 2010. He just does this unprovoked,” one fan added.
“LeBron is arguably the greatest NBA player ever but his basketball abilities pale in comparison to his generational lying,” one fan wrote.
This nigga lies so much there ain’t gonna be no lies left for everyone else https://t.co/VPkE87Vtmh

Takeoff, one-third of rap group Migos, was shot and killed outside a Houston bowling alley at the age of 28.
The Atlanta rap great, who just released an album alongside fellow Migos member and uncle Quavo, was attending a private party when an argument between his uncle and somebody else led to gunfire.
Quavo was not injured in the incident but Takeoff was shot and killed on the spot.
For the last decade-plus, Migos have left their mark on U.S. hip-hop and music and earning two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in the process.
