Justin Herbert’s 2023 campaign ended early in December as he underwent surgery to repair the broken index finger on his right (throwing) hand. he has been missing in action ever since.

On Thursday, the Los Angeles Chargers X account sent out a missing poster with Herbert’s face on it that confused a lot of folks.

The entire post actually stated “Missing” and then “You so much” at the bottom.

Here is how social media responded to the post:

The 2023 season was a dud for the Chargers as a team. They finished 5-12 and in dead last in the AFC West.

Losing badly has become a concerning trend for an organization that has had a number of head-scratching losses over the last few years, including a historic playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022 when they blew a 27-0 lead.

It’s been over five years since the Los Angeles Chargers’ last playoff win. The franchise hasn’t made it past the divisional round since 2007, and their last division title came in 2009.

Herbert threw for 3,134 yards and 20 touchdowns in 13 games last season. He missed the final four games with a broken finger.

The Chargers hold the fifth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and have newfound hope after the team went out and signed Jim Harbaugh as their next head coach.
