The Dallas Mavericks faced the Denver Nuggets on Sunday in a thrilling matchup with a great conclusion. The game kept the fans present in the arena at the edge of their seats as Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving carried their team to victory.

After the game, Luka attended a post-game interview. In the interview, he applauded his teammate Kyrie Irving for his spectacular performance. He called Irving’s effort in the dying minutes something that he could not believe.

The highlight of the Mavs vs Nuggets game was the buzzer-beating basket he made in the final moments of the game to push his team ahead of the Nuggets. That crucial shot by Irving secured the victory for the Mavs giving the fans a run for their money. Luka Doncic could not believe the shot made by Kyrie and applauded his teammate in the post-game interview.

During the interview, the reporter revealed to Luka that Kyrie thanked the Slovenian international for making a three-pointer before his buzzer-beater sealed the victory. Luka immediately refuted his praise and credited Kyrie as the hero of the match. “No, no, no, that is about him. That shot is unbelievable. I couldn’t believe it,” said Luka in response to his praise by Kyrie.

Doncic’s tandem with Irving sinks Nuggets

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving emerged as the victorious ones in their matchup against Nikola Jokic and his Nuggets. Both teams put up a great fight against each other but in the end, Doncic and Irving’s tandem sunk the hopes of the Nuggets. Luka scored 37 points in the game and scored a three-pointer in the final minutes of the game to tie the score.

Kyrie Irving who ended the game with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and nine assists was the game’s hero. He scored an amazing buzzer-beater to secure the win for the Mavericks. The Nuggets fans were left disappointed after their team came so close to winning the game. However, this is one of the very few losses the dominant Nuggets have suffered this season. The Mavericks were able to pull through with a final score of 107-105.
