Luka Doncic’s parents, Mirjam Poterbin and Sasa Doncic, welcomed him in 1999, and they had no clue that they were giving birth to a future NBA legend.
Most people watching Luka Doncic get drafted in 2018 might have thought the gorgeous woman cheering him on was his girlfriend, but it was actually his mother, Mirjam Poterbin, who looks exceptional for her age.
She completely stole the show when she arrived, rockin’ a tiny white shirt and tight blue jeans. Mirjam Poterbin posted herself posing next to a poster of her son yelling.
About the game, Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks rallied from a 31-point first-half deficit to almost pull off a historic NBA playoff comeback against the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 4 of their first-round NBA playoff series.
With 2:14 left in the fourth quarter, a basket by Kyrie Irving gave Dallas a 105–104 lead.
But Paul George’s stepback 3-pointer from the corner gave the Clippers a 107–105 advantage that they eventually maintained for a 116–111 triumph. Entering Wednesday’s Game 5, the series is currently even at 2-2.
Luka Doncic totaled 29 points (10-24 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 8-10 FT), ten rebounds, ten assists and one block across 45 minutes.

Luka Doncic and his mother are on good terms now, but it wasn’t always that way.
The legal drama between Luka Doncic and his mother, Mirjam Poterbin, came to an end over the player’s trademark rights.
The Dallas Mavericks superstar tried to get control of his trademark rights, but his mother wouldn’t allow that, starting a big battle on the court. Luka sued his mom, stating that as he grew as a player and became a much more famous star, he needed to be in control of everything regarding him, including his brand. His mother, however, disagreed.
After a couple of months, the Slovenian superstar reportedly ended the fight with his mother, via a report by Law360.com.
“Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has ended the fight with his mother over her rights to a trademark bearing his name, according to a Thursday filing by the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.”
