The Warriors may not be ready for a teardown, but teams are targeting their roster for potential reinforcements.
The Mavericks and Bucks are both eyeing Andrew Wiggins ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, according to Yahoo.
Wigginis, 28, is averaging 12.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
The Warriors are 22-25 and seemingly headed nowhere this year, raising questions about the future of the roster.
Stephen Curry is locked in and won’t be traded, Klay Thompson is a pending free agent and Draymond Green has a contract that other teams are unlikely to touch.
Jonathan Kuminga and Chris Paul won’t be traded, per Yahoo.
That leaves Wiggins as the top trade chip for Golden State should it look to build for the future.

Wiggins is having a down season, but was a key part of the Warriors team that won the NBA championship two seasons ago.
Any Bucks deal reportedly would have to involve Bobby Portis due to Wiggins’ $24.3 million salary this year, and the Bucks’ willingness to give him up is not a given, per the report.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr reportedly is a fan of Portis from having coached him last summer during the FIBA World Cup.

They look as vulnerable as they have in years.
Yahoo also reports they are considering Nets forward Dorian Finney-Smith, but Milwaukee lacks the first-round picks the Nets are seeking in return.
The Mavericks sit in eighth in the Western Conference with a 28-23 record, which would put them in the play-in tournament.
The Warriors are in 11th and 1 ½ games behind the Jazz for the final play-in spot.

Dallas is willing to use either Grant Williams or Tim Hardaway Jr. to help land a frontcourt player who can shoot and play defense, according to Yahoo.
The Mavericks are also open to including their 2027 first-round pick in any deal, and Yahoo lists the Hornets’ PJ Washington or Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart as options.
