Dallas Mavericks’ star point guard Kyrie Irving was happy to perform a jersey swap with Dillon Brooks of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Half of a traditional jersey swap, at least.

Following Monday night’s game between the two Western Conference clubs, Brooks approached Irving to swap jerseys. Though the perennial All-Star point guard was happy to give Brooks his jersey, Irving didn’t seem to have any interest in taking the former’s:

Irving has been embroiled in controversy aplenty over the past year and a half, so this apparent jersey-snubbing of Brooks’ is sure to cause more headlines.

The Grizzlies went on to defeat the Mavericks by a final score of 112-108. Brooks finished the night with nine points, five assists and four rebounds. Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 28 points on the night.

Dallas kept it close without superstar Luka Doncic, who was sidelined for the game with a left thigh strain. Irving led the Mavericks with 28 points to go along with four rebounds.
