The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs have arrived in Las Vegas for Super Bowl 57. And it appears as though some of them are already soaking in the Sin City lifestyle…perhaps a bit too much.

That’s what NFL fans believe was the case with Kyle Shanahan, as they couldn’t help but notice something was off while the Niners head coach answered questions at Super Bowl opening night.

Here’s a clip of Shanahan talking about the moment he told 49ers GM John Lynch that Brock Purdy was the best quarterback on their roster.

After seeing this, fans immediately accused Shanahan of being a lil’ tipsy.

Whether or not Shanahan was actually drunk remains a mystery, but it’s still only Monday. So it’s hard to fault the Niners’ coach for indulging a bit before he really begins the grind ahead of Sunday’s big game.

The 49ers will be looking to avenge their loss from Super Bowl 54, as they get another crack at the Chiefs’ emerging dynasty. Should San Fran take home the Lombardi Trophy, we’ll likely be getting at least a few more nights of drunk Shanahan.
