This week, it was announced that Nikola Jokic has won the NBA MVP trophy for the second year in a row.

Two people who were thrilled with Nikola Jokic’s win were his brothers. Not only did they celebrate, but they also took some time to contact an old friend.

The Jokic brothers took to Twitter and took shots at Markieff Morris, who they and Nikola had problems with earlier this season.

A fastbreak foul that happened in the game between the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets led to a bench-clearing incident back in the regular season. Markieff Morris intentionally bumped Nikola Jokic on the ribs and hit his knee to stop the play. It didn’t sit well with Jokic, who thought it was a dirty move. With Morris’ back turned, Nikola shoved him from behind.

The incident spilled over to social media after Markieff’s twin Marcus and the Jokic brothers traded barbs on Twitter.

Despite all of the drama, Jokic has accomplished something very special. Not only did he secure the MVP award in back to back seasons, he is only the second European in NBA history to win the MVP award multiple times.
