The Kansas City Chiefs won against the Buffalo Bills in the highly anticipated playoff game.
In a thrilling encounter against the Buffalo Bills, the Kansas City Chiefs prevailed in the Divisional playoff round. The team had a clutch victory in the playoffs as they trailed after the third quarter but had a staunch display in the fourth. Patrick Mahomes kept his playoff record clean as he had another victory over the Bills. This is the third time the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs in the Mahomes era.
In the post-game sideline interview, Patrick Mahomes shut his critics with some strong words. Mahomes admitted that the Chiefs were here to prove a point. He also silenced the critics who doubted their ability to make it to championship games.
We were here to prove a point. To show that we can play anywhere. We know we have a challenge next week, but we are ready. We are ready to go.
Mahomes after the game against the Bills
It was a tough challenge for Mahomes and company as the team had to play on the away turf for the first time in the playoffs. They never went through the experience of an on-road playoff game since Mahomes became their starter this one.
Considering this factor, analysts had mixed opinions on the prospective game. Some predicted that the Bills would have some advantages considering the home factor. While some relied on Mahomes’ record.
Allen would have regretted not beating Mahomes in the playoffs
Josh Allen, despite providing one of the finest individual performances in the regular season, would finish his NFL journey with regret. This was his best chance to win over Mahomes and the Chiefs.
In his two previous attempts, he failed. This time, he got one of the weakest Chiefs rosters that was suffering from multiple crises. The Andy Reid offense was suffering from inabilities. They did not have a proper wide receiver, which cost them a lot. In addition, the Bills had a home game.

Again, Allen failed to have the last laugh. Mahomes is a different beast when it comes to playoffs.
Sucks! Losing sucks. Losing to [the Chiefs], losing to anybody at home. Sucks.
Josh Allen told the reporters
The Chiefs also seemed a different team that got over all the obstacles. They will face the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game. Another Super Bowl chance for the Chiefs is possible.
