Former Pittsburgh Steelers star-turned-boxer Le’Veon Bell is primed and ready to get back in the boxing ring.
The legendary Pittsburgh Steelers star ditched the gridiron long ago and has since embarked on a boxing career that is going to continue in 2024.
The latest report says Le’Veon Bell is set to have a huge boxing match on May 25th, and the announcement of it should be coming fairly soon this week. The report also alleges that Le’Veon Bell will be facing off against the famous boxing star Tristan Hamm.
Bell had social media on fire when he sent Adrian Peterson to the canvas in the fifth round of their September 2022 exhibition.
Since then, Bell has fought more in the ring, losing a unanimous decision to Uriah Hall in his professional debut in October 2022 but rebounding by winning a unanimous decision over YouTuber JMX in April 2023.
As for Tristan Hamm, he is a little fresher as he fought Rodney Petersen in January 2024 on the Misfits Boxing 12 card and delivered a first-round knockout. That victory was Hamm’s professional boxing debut, improving his record to 1-0.

Back in February 2024, former All-Pro runner Le’Veon Bell posted on Snapchat saying he was attempting an NFL comeback, and the team he hopes to play for this season is the Steelers.
“I won’t start training until like March,” Bell said. “And I’m gonna be honest with myself, I got to go out there and be like, I’m going to put my foot in the ground. Do I feel it? Am I hurting? Can I go out there and really play again? And bro, I’m telling you all right now when I go out there and train in March and if I hit April and I make this decision to come back to play in the NFL again, mark my words down — I will be better than I ever was. And I will only come back for that one team. You all know who it is. I don’t have to say no team. You all know who it is.”
Bell spent five seasons with the Steelers. The last time he played in the NFL was in 2021 with the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when he would go on to win a Super Bowl.
Bell was one of the NFL’s top players from 2014-17.
In his career in the NFL, Bell rushed for 6,554 yards, with 5,336 coming with the Steelers. He also scored 35 of his 42 rushing touchdowns while with the Steelers, via ESPN.com.
