Selena Gomez continued to be a relatable celebrity on Friday, sharing a humorous reel on Instagram for her 429 million followers.

‘Instagram vs. reality,’ she captioned the video, which started off with her looking stunning as she applied makeup from her own line, Rare Beauty.

She utilized audio from her latest hit single, Single Soon for the reel as she prettied herself up even further, lip syncing to her own lyrics.

However, the video took a hilarious turn near the end when the song stops and Wizards of Waverly Place star stifles a laugh.

Despite the comical singing snafu, the brunette beauty looked radiant in a crisp white oversized sweater, with her hair tied in a loose bun.

Despite her astronomical success as a triple threat as an actor, singer, and business woman, Selena has stayed refreshingly relatable about being the most followed person on Instagram.

She admitted at the Universal Music Group and Thrive Global’s first Music + Health Conference that she recognized her large following wasn’t all about her.

‘it’s not just about me, and I’m fully aware of that. I will just always cherish it. It’s a big responsibility, though. It’s a little scary,’ the curvaceous beauty said.

The Year Without Rain singer acknowledged that, ‘I feel for people, and I think that’s what kind of keeps me in check, to be honest.’

Acting-wise, fans of Selena’s performance on the Hulu hit Only Murders In The Building were outraged when the Texas-born singer was snubbed of an acting Emmy nomination.

However, in an ironic twist, she still made history as the second Latina ever in the Emmy’s long history to be nominated for a producing Emmy on a comedy television program (she was also nominated in 2022.)

Awards aside, Esquire reported that Only Murders In The Building may return for a fourth season — however, nothing has been officially confirmed by Hulu as of yet.

The down to Earth actress has garnered so much fame that she even unintentionally caused the paparazzi to ignore Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe when both celebs were at Giorgio Baldi’s in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Demonstrating a similar self-deprecating sense of humor that would make Selena proud, Shannon joked, ‘Had I realized it was her I would’ve asked for a pic.’

Successful singing and acting career to the side, the hardworking millennial has also demonstrated great business acumen with her makeup line Rare Beauty.

Her cosmetics company is set to make $70 million from blush alone this year.

As the DailyMail reported previously, Rare Beauty is also on the fast track to triple overall sales in comparison to last year’s revenue.

Her latest track, Single Soon, also debuted in the 19th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
