Selena Gomez has once again shown her support for Hailey Bieber in her ongoing feud with Justin Bieber. The singer took to Instagram recently to address the negative comments and hate that Hailey has been receiving online.
The feud began when Selena released her song “Lose You to Love Me” in 2019, which was widely believed to be about her past relationship with Justin. Fans quickly took to social media to express their opinions about the song, with some even claiming that Hailey was involved in the breakdown of their relationship.
In response to the negative comments, Hailey posted a screenshot on Instagram, stating, “Please stop with this nonsense…there is no ‘response’. Yes, I’ve seen it. I’m not going to let it get to me.”
Selena, however, was not satisfied with the way Hailey was being treated and decided to speak out in defense of her. In an Instagram live session, she called out the hate and urged her fans to be kinder and more compassionate towards Hailey.
“I am grateful for the response that the song is getting. I’m so grateful. However, I do not stand for women tearing other women down. And I will never, ever be by that,” Selena said.
This is not the first time Selena has defended Hailey against online hate. Last year, she had asked her followers to stop spreading hate towards Hailey as it was not fair to blame her for her past relationship’s downfall. She also made it clear that she has moved on and is in a better place now.
Selena’s comments come at a time when Justin and Hailey’s relationship has been under constant scrutiny. Many people often compare Hailey to Selena, which has resulted in online hate towards both women.
Selena ended her live session by urging her fans to focus on spreading love and kindness and to not get caught up in unnecessary hate. She emphasized the importance of lifting each other up, rather than tearing others down.
The ongoing feud between Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, and Hailey Bieber has been making headlines for quite some time. However, Selena’s decision to defend Hailey against the hate shows the importance of supporting women and spreading positivity in tense situations. It sends a powerful message about unity and compassion in the face of negativity.
