Gabe Davis yells at a Bills fan.

A new viral video shows Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis getting into it with disgruntled fans after the team’s heartbreaking Divisional Round playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

“Big Game Gabe” missed Sunday’s contest at Highmark Stadium with a knee injury. His presence was sorely missed by a Buffalo passing game that struggled with consistency all night long in a gut-wrenching 27-24 defeat.

A fan captured a video of other Bills supporters mouthing off Davis following the loss. Buffalo’s pending free agent exchanged some heated words with fans while teammate Dawson Knox tried to calm him down:

Davis informed reporters on Monday that he expects to test free agency in the new league year, though he’s “open” to coming back to Buffalo. Davis has completed the final year of his rookie contract.

Davis had four receiving touchdowns in the Bills’ Divisional Round loss to the Chiefs two years ago, hence the “Big Game Gabe” nickname. Given his game-changing abilities and career performances against Kansas City, Davis very well could have been the difference-maker on Sunday.

Kicker Tyler Bass missed a game-tying 44-yard field goal attempt with less than two minutes to go in the fourth quarter. The Chiefs were able to run out the clock to lock down a sixth straight trip to the AFC Championship Game.

While the Bills are left wondering what went wrong in January yet again, the Chiefs will try to keep their quest for a repeat alive when they visit the Baltimore Ravens in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
