The Super Bowl had a pair of unwanted guests on the field as two people made their way onto the field as the Kansas City Chiefs were on offense.

After the Chiefs picked up just two yards on a Patrick Mahomes pass to Mecole Hardman on third-and-8, CBS Sports color commentator Tony Romo informed fans at home that streakers were on the field. Like any broadcast, it was not shown to the public as this is done to prevent others from thinking they would be put on TV.

Photos showed the men being led off the field by security while in handcuffs.

Days later, one of them is now speaking out and revealing why he would pay so much to attend the Super Bowl just to get arrested and banned from all NF stadiums for life.

Alex Gonzalez stated it started with a bet as he wanted to place cash on a prop bet on a fan running out on the field. Unfortunately for him, when he tied to place the bet, it no longer existed. That still did not matter as he was already locked in on running on the field despite dropping $42,000 on seats.

“I’m like, ‘Damn. I am in too deep at this point where I can’t back out anymore.’”

Once out on the field, cell phone video showed Gonzalez running around before he gave himself up to security. His buddy was arrested on the sidelines.

He added that he spent Sunday night behind bars.
