The couple’s PDA started on Saturday well before they were “touching and kissing” at a party at Catch Steakhouse.

When the couple attended “Saturday Night Live,” they reportedly couldn’t keep their hands off each other backstage.

“They were very touchy-feely [backstage]. They were very cute and supportive of each other,” a source told Page Six.

The online celebrity outlet also learned that “SNL” bookers were just as surprised by Swift’s and Kelce’s appearance on the show as viewers and were told the “SNL” visit was supposed to be a date night for the couple.

But producers at the iconic sketch show were smart enough to capitalize on the budding couple in attendance.

Minutes before “Saturday Night Live” was set to kick off Season 49, the show’s production team, led by executive producer Lorne Michaels, received word that two special guests were on their way.

Travis Kelce even made an appearance in the sketch, though it was not initially planned.

The fact that he was wearing the same outfit during the sketch and at the afterparty indicates that this was a last-minute decision.

Taylor Swift, on the other hand, was invited on stage to introduce her collaborator Ice Spice.

Behind the scenes, the couple was all smiles, according to the insider. “The second [Kelce] walked in, they mentioned the sketch, and he said he was happy to join. They were happy to jump into some parts of the show when asked.”

The surprise guest appearances left both the live audience and viewers at home shocked, with audible gasps when Travis Kelce first made his cameo.

Although the Kansas City Chiefs player and Swift did not appear on stage at the close of the show with Pete Davidson, Ice Spice, and the cast, they were thanked by Davidson in his farewell.
