Jacquelyn took home the $250K grand prize in addition to the winning title on Tuesday.

In the wake of her victory, The Floor fans have filled X, fka Twitter, with think-pieces that knock down her achievement.

“The woman [Jacquelyn] who just won #TheFloor is the most undeserving game show winner EVER,” one fan slammed on X.

“She won 2 duels and then stood in the corner doing nothing the entire game while countless other players cleared the floor- then she goes to the final duel and wins 250k?! Seriously flawed game.”

A second agreed: “The ending of this show maybe needs a retool as sorry to say the person who won wasn’t fair.

Maybe have the highest 5 individual winners come back at end and battle it out.

“Also I knew from the start who was going to win as they kept showing her-don’t do that #TheFloor.”

A third person chimed in: “#TheFloor was a great gameshow but a bulls**t conclusion. But I knew it was gonna end this way. Somebody that barely played all season winning at the end.”

‘DISAPPOINTING RESULTS’

Another added: “So disappointed in results of #TheFloor the winner didn’t do shit, she just coasted into that win, so many better competitors got sent home, pfft!!”

Following the abovementioned tweet was another that read: “What a horribly boring end to the #TheFloor.

Hope @RobLowe comes back for a season 2 and it better have a way more intense ending.”

Someone else ranted: “So the moral of the story is, do all the work so someone else gets all the credit at the end. Got it. That’s how the light up on #thefloor rolls.”

POINT OF THE GAME

The Floor involved 81 contestants who competed against each other.

Hollywood star Rob Lowe, 59, is the host of The Floor.

Its description on its website stated: “‘The Floor’ is a trivia battle in which 81 contestants stand on 81 squares on a massive game show floor, competing for a whopping grand prize.”

The LED floor is split into 100 equal squares, with “each representing its own field of knowledge,” Deadline reported.

The outlet continued: “The first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent’s category.

“The winner takes over the loser’s square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game.

“The winner must then choose – do they continue on and attempt to secure another square? Or do they let The Floor choose a new challenger?”

The television show premiered on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. CST on Fox.

In late 2023, the network released The Floor’s Official Trailer, in which the show is referred to as “the most epic game show ever created.”
