Chase’s beef with the Chiefs continues.

Since being drafted in 2021, Ja’Marr Chase has gone to the playoffs with the Cincinnati Bengals. On this occasion, he will be watching post-season football from the couch with teammate Tee Higgins.
The Bengals finished the season at the bottom of the AFC North with a 9-8 record. On the other hand, Kansas City Chiefs won another AFC West title, securing the third seed to qualify for the playoffs.
It’s evident that Chase doesn’t see the Chiefs in a positive light. Before their latest clash on Week 17 of the 2023 season, he claimed no Chiefs defender was good enough to stop him or any other Bengals receiver. Yet they lost the game 25-17 and blew the chance to appear in the playoffs. Chase only caught the ball three times for 41 yards, while Higgins only had one.
He did not say much after the game about the loss. However, during a recent appearance on SportsCenter, the 23-year-old made it clear where he stands when it comes to Kansas being a Super Bowl contender.
Anyone but the Chiefs.
Chase said
Higgins, on the other hand, went with the AFC #1 seed and divisional rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, to lift the Lombardi Trophy.
Imma keep it in the division, and Imma go Ravens.
Higgins saidThey also wished to see the Dallas Cowboys take on the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC bout. But football fans, mostly Chiefs fans on social media, were not pleased by Chase’s answer of not wanting their team to win the Super Bowl.
Will Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins watch the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs?
It’s safe to say most Bengals would be rooting for an NFC team to bag the Super Bowl over an AFC side, or more importantly, the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl back-to-back years. From here on out, those players who are not taking part in the playoffs will either spend time with family or immerse themselves in specialized training sessions. Yet, on gameday, they will be glued to their TV screens to watch football on match days.

This weekend, Peacock will broadcast the first NFL game on stream. It will feature the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead. So are Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins going to watch their arch-nemesis?
On Wednesday’s episode of The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, Florida native Le Batard invited the Bengals playmakers and threw in the question,
Will both of you be subscribing to Peacock this weekend just to watch the Chiefs-Dolphins?
After a brief moment of silence, Chase joked,
Hey, I mean, if my wingman over there helps me pay for it, we could get some wings.
It was an unclear answer, but they will probably watch it while gorging on a few wings. The Chiefs and the Dolphins will face each other on January 13th in the Wild Card.
