Rihanna has been solely focused on her impending bundle of joy despite A$AP Rocky’s recent arrest.

After the rapper, 33, was taken into custody on Wednesday, April 20, in connection to an alleged November 2021 shooting, insiders revealed the Fenty mogul, 34, has not been thrilled by the recent developments regarding her baby daddy.

“This drama is the last thing Rihanna needs right now,” a source dished to Entertainment Tonight. “She wants to be mellow, relaxed, and focused 100 percent on the arrival of her baby — not stressing out!”

“This arrest was not something they saw coming,” the insider continued of the expectant pair — who began dating in November of 2020.

As OK! previously reported, Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday, April 20, for assault with a deadly weapon after returning from Barbados where the music power couple has been planning on welcoming their first child.

“Despite strong ties to New York, the plan was to make L.A. the home base once the baby came,” the source revealed to the outlet. “However, Rihanna wants to give birth in Barbados and spend the first few months with the baby there before coming stateside.”

Even with all of the media attention thrown her way, the “S&M” vocalist has focused on maintaining her composure for the sake of the baby. “Rihanna made a point to navigate the public side of her pregnancy on her own terms and now suddenly things seem out of her control,” the insider revealed.

According to NBC News, an alleged victim came forward claiming the “Praise The Lord” artist shot at him last year. The shooting victim, who survived, later told police that the musician, who was walking with two others, approached him with a handgun on the street.

The victim claimed Rocky shot at him three to four times and believed one of the bullets grazed his left hand, according to police reports.
