Earlier this month, Travis Kelce said on an episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast that his long beard gives him “power” while he’s playing football.

Kelce grew out his beard through the Kansas City Chiefs’ run to the Super Bowl and now he left wondering what to do with it now that the season has concluded.

“I don’t know what I’m gonna do with this thing,” Kelce said on a recent episode of his podcast New Heights while addressing his beard.

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce suggested that Travis should shave the beard for charity, auctioning off his whiskers to raise money for a good cause.

“I don’t know, that sounds fun. I might want to keep this thing for myself,” Travis replied. “I might just shave it off, put it in a Ziploc bag, and keep it with all my other Super Bowl memorabilia.”

“Just know, sometimes you just gotta work for things baby. And you gotta enjoy the ride and the journey.”

The beard worked for him as he was electric in the playoffs, catching 32 of 37 targets for 355 yards with three touchdowns in the Chiefs’ four postseason games, including the team’s 25-22 overtime win vs. the 49ers.

Travis Kelce has 165 catches for 1,903 yards and has scored 19 touchdowns in 22 games in the playoffs in his career which has helped him and the Chiefs secure three Super Bowl rings.

With how famous Kelce has gotten since dating Taylor Swift, him selling off his beard would garner so much money.

For now, Kelce is out in Australia supporting Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour.
