In a thrilling encounter against the Buffalo Bills, the Kansas City Chiefs prevailed in the Divisional playoff round. The team had a clutch victory in the playoffs as they trailed after the third quarter but had a staunch display in the fourth. Patrick Mahomes kept his playoff record clean as he had another victory over the Bills. This is the third time the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs in the Mahomes era.

In the post-game sideline interview, Patrick Mahomes shut his critics with some strong words. Mahomes admitted that the Chiefs were here to prove a point. He also silenced the critics who doubted their ability to make it to championship games.

In the end, it was Mahomes who prevailed. He is not someone who could be ignored in the playoff rounds. The QB had 215 yards of passing with two touchdowns, with a completion rate of 73%. Allen also made efforts to win the game. But he was restricted to a touchdown for less than 200 yards.

Josh Allen, despite providing one of the finest individual performances in the regular season, would finish his NFL journey with regret. This was his best chance to win over Mahomes and the Chiefs.

In his two previous attempts, he failed. This time, he got one of the weakest Chiefs rosters that was suffering from multiple crises. The Andy Reid offense was suffering from inabilities. They did not have a proper wide receiver, which cost them a lot. In addition, the Bills had a home game.

Again, Allen failed to have the last laugh. Mahomes is a different beast when it comes to playoffs.
