When it was partly filled in, the bubbly Marissa from Colorado was ready to solve it.

She said what sounded to fans like “Everglade National Park,” lacking a crucial “S” in the end the first word.

Pat, 77, ruled she got it correct, saying, “That is correct.” And even complimented her, “Lovely annunciation and everything!”

However, fans weren’t convinced, taking to social media to vent about the host’s latest murky moment.

‘EVERGLADE!?’

“This lady on #wheeloffortune just said ‘Everglade National Park’ and got credit for the puzzle.  I’m pissed, it’s ‘Everglades!'” one X user wrote.

“No way that woman said ‘everglades’ and not just singular ‘Everglade,’ wrote another.

“I even rewound and watched again. The injustice of Pat ruling that correct and even complimenting her annunciation!!!!!”

Others brought up how a contestant was allowed to say what sounded like “Frankfort, Germany” earlier this month.

PRIZE DENIED

In Wednesday’s episode, a contestant named Emma was denied a puzzle she had correctly solved in a very messy moment.

She confidently solved a puzzle with “Can’t See The Forest—Oh shoot!”, drawing chuckles from the audience.

She completed it, adding, “For The Trees,” just as the buzzer sounded,” but wasn’t awarded the prize.e

What’s worse, the next contestant Ben then solved it as “Can’t See The Forest For The Trees,” mirroring Emma’s words, except he was ruled correct.

Pat explained the decision by informing all three players, “So the reason I got a no from producers is you just broke it up too much.

“If you had gone back to the beginning and gone through it again we could have accepted it.

But we can’t just let you sit there and figure it out as you go.” – Ben’s solve secured him a tour of Alaska worth $9899.

“BS!!! Emma solved that forest puzzle. Dumb rule,” one X user wrote.

“Jerks #wheeloffortune …poor Emma,” wrote another.

“To witness a man benefitting from a woman who did the all work is revolting,” wrote a third.

“She should have allowed to/asked to start over. Prize puzzle, extra painful #wheeloffortune” wrote a fourth.
